Went camping in yzerfontein with the girlfriend for the weekend and forgot blankets! It was flipping cold and we wokeup at least every hour due to freezingness (new word), needless to say I spent Sunday at Century City buying a nice duvet and pillows for the bus, that will stay in the bus permanently!

Tried to locate the short on Lady. Spent most of the night with a multi-meter, eventually gave up and swapped the battery out with a fully charged one. Then fond that the light switch seems to stay on even when fully pressed in. Gave it a good pat and suddenly the lights were out. Suspect I'll need a new light switch :(

Also cut some more boards for Christn's interior.

Trial fitted my fresh twincarb 1641cc motor into my 58, took me almost 45 min :D , will be running tonight once carbs are refitted. :D this has been in the pipeline for like 2,5 years but will be comming out again after a trial run, there is more work to be done. Did have a hickup, while fitting the pressure plate a grade 8.8 ???? bolt decided to snap, got to test out a "trick" removing it, worked like a charm, if it works on stuborn carb jet then it was worth a try, and it worked. :drunks:

Fixed oil leak on Razor, installed new deep sump, changed idle jets from 50 to 55s. Test drive revealed I can go to 60s... Tomorrow maybe because it requires taking off the carbs due to lack of space... new oil leak discovered on rocker cover. That's an easy one. Tomorrow...

If it's the ones that is also the door hinge pin, then good luck removing the old pins. They are stuck like ape :bn: to a tiger skin. I still have to do that when I get back, but luckily I've had time to ponder on the problem and do some research on the net.

Decided that my carb was all set nicely and according to manufacturers settings so figured the points and condensor were bein a pain so got new ones, set the gap and hey presto she starts, so while i was dirty changed the spark plugs and tweaked the idle and checked the timing, so pig is back on the game.

Yes it is those. My dad has to fit them as he must get the bus road legal for me to drive it to JHB. :D

Pulled up pigs drums at the back today, and washed her, figure i need to invest in an orbital polisher and polish to fix the paint job, make the scratches disappear
