Working on a "rough" test manifold to try out the carb. There might be an issue clearing the ignition leads....




...& yes... I know the flanges are too thin.. I'm kind of limited to using a grinder, hacksaw, drill stand and grinding stones to make stuff but once this works I might make it more sturdy. ;D
I would need to support the carb anyway.

Need to figure linkage, support and leads out...

YAY! I didn't adjust anything yet... but it works niiccee.....
Remember this carb doesn't have any jets. Adjustments are a air bypass, throttle butterfly position and WOT enrichment screw...
What do you guys think?
Next thing is to make it permanent.
No flat-spots like with the 28IMB Weber.....

It would have had a trumpet and pancake originally... don't know if that will fit...

Eben, have you had the fiat on a fuel analyser yet, is the fuel mixture correct through the full rev range??

That carb is more simpler then the Webers, but look and sound great,.

I think we should all go that way. it they correct. what is your fuel economy compared to the original carb.?

Hi, no no tuning yet. I will start the rough tuning this weekend and maybe use a colortune later. This Carb has an interesting tuning procedure.

Interested to hear the result, and maybe post the tuning procedure, would be interesting.

It involves odd-sized allen keys, a ballpoint pen, running the engine at 2000rpm, adjusting the position of the butterfly on the shaft for max intake vacuum and running the engine at full throttle for peak power delivery.

Still have vacuum leaks...
