The date stamps are usually on the face of the rim, between the bolt holes. They are usually represented with the month above a line and the year below; sometimes the date stamp is in a circle. Sometimes they can be found on the back face of the rim. Date stamps can be very hard to see on repainted wheels.karmakoma wrote:Very interesting.

As Fig said. I can only give info as on my car. 58 built in 57. The rim was black and then the face inside was painted white(ivory) and the outside of the face was painted dove blue. Know in the 60's there was white(ish) faced rims on the ghias.
