Bus will stay standard, but I am still keen on BIG wheels. Buggers mention in another thread of 7 ply landy tyres. mmmmm

Saw a cool site with a few raised buses. Think it was called 'bajabus' or something like that. Also gives pointers of how to do it properly.

Home sweet home :-)

Welcome to the family.

Seeing the car up close and personal now and with a little more time to inspect it, LLLLOOOOTTSSS of work.
Ok, granted, after the notch this will be a walk in the park, but still, she needs a bit of effort put into her.

First thing is to get her running again, fix the obvious faults, roadworthy, and change of ownership. Can't wait :-)

Thanks again to Chris for helping to get her home - what a journey!

Kaptein, span die seile @ Pine :-)
Need the following already:
Interior left door handle,
original "double door" external door handle.
Passenger side pop out window frame and pop out window mechanism (is it same as a beetle, looks a bit bigger but cant remember?), this one is VROT!
Ignition with a key - OG VW ignition, not the aftermarket junk - if possible.

And thats only what I have noted so far, in the semi-darkness!

I was about to ask for the drivers side window winder, then I slid the window open
