Yes, that's where it is on SA-assembled splits. I'm not certain where it is on a bay. There should also be a VWAG VIN plate somewhere in front.

WOW! That's an Arcomobil/Grawomobil.

That's a rare German camper conversion built in Stuttgart. They started converting splits under the name Arcomobil in 1960. In about 1971 the name was changed to Grawomobil. I doubt you'll ever see another one in RHD.

You just changed my whole plan. I wanted to get rid of the roof and put another top on. But that plan has changed completely now. Do you have any other info?
