things start to go together.

Tony, you are right.
I can see this is not a 5-day cricket match.
It's more like a 20-20 game.
Love the progress mcg !!!

ok now im at a loss front discs are a 4 by 100 pcd rears standard.
should i put spacers on the front to run standard 15 inch vw rims???
or should i find rims that will run that profile and run 185/60 15s on the front
and just put adapters on the rear.
Im a bit worried about the turning circle on the front with adapters.
And what rims will fit.

do you want to fit alloys or not?
What I have seen in the past is fitting alloys to the rear with adapters is that the rears tend to stick out past the fender.
If you want best fit and best turning circle, then stock rims is probably the way to go - but I dont know how well they fit into the front fenders with the adapters.

Thanks Tony just wasn't sure as forums tend to say that if the front is
spaced turning circle will increase.
So standard we will go

but remember, your disk kit isnt the same as the US or Euro kits. And by using the "reverse adapter" to fit the wide 5's again, you might end up with the wheels close to the original stock position.
Or you might not... I dont know.
My turning circle is shiv, but thats because I have wide rims which hit the suspension limiting how much I can turn the steering wheel. Using stock rims, you should hopefully be able to avoid this

The disks are infact made for the Golf, so the std Mag. wheel would not fit, it would have to be a golf wheel that has a large off set.
What i have done, is fit adapters, to bring it back to wide 5, and fitted a stock Beetle wheel.
You may find, as i have, that I still had to fit a 10mm spacer behind the adapter, as the stock Beetle wheel would rub against the calipers.
The wheel sits out a bit, but looks better then stock, as it fills the wheel well better, no problem with the turning circle, as the wheel sits out and not in.
Hope this helps
