DaveR has a full length pan for sale, everything already on it, discs, gearbox, everything, just needs and engine and a body. Get a new body kit from Beamish if you like them, or Kango if their still around, there's another outfit in Jo-burg that makes a nice LWB body... ermmm... "..."... Salamander...

Get pan body and engine together, fumble some wiring into it and Bob's yer Uncle and Fanny's yer Aunt, and there's your buggy.

Otherwise, there are plenty of "tight-formation-of-loose-parts" driving around, and for sale, you get what you pay for, but anything is a starter these days.

I'll look around for you this coming leave, I tend to spot them, don't know why. There were a couple for sale in Melkbos last time I was there. Let me know if you are serious about a project buggy, and I'll help secure a starter buggy.

And it blew the doors of an M3. Promise its true.

From the Robots I dropped in the clutch @ 4000rpm. Did this M3 driver get a surprise. The M3 did eventually pass me but I were in the lead for the first 30 odd cm's.

Ron&Gill, How would one get hold of DaveR to find out details of the pan including price?

I would love to fit one of IMPI's engines and Pine's buggy body!

Tom, I do like that body you have in the pics.....what's it called?

You phone Dave. Vader has his number, so does HR. I have a spread sheet that shows what he spent on it, and that comes to R23080.00 Don't get a shock now, it is brand new, new rubbers, discs, bearings sterring box, starter motor, everything except and engine. But it is LWB.

Or maybe next time you in town, you come catch the beeeeg feeeesh with me.

BTW what sort of KW you recons comming from that motor.

Pine I love you too, Bringing a Cannon to a fist fight. :zhelp: :zhelp: :zhelp:

I don't know what kW's it's doing but I would love to find out.

I want to take it to my friends at GMP Motorsport and put it on the dyno to see what it says. From there I would be able to work out what the power to weight ratio will be.

I ran it yesterday with the GPS and it actualy showed me that my speedo was showing slower. At around 95km/h it was showing 101 on the GPS,then I changed to 3rd,it ran to 148 and I slowed down because the right front wheel was realy feeling crappy because of the worn kingpin.

One thing I do have to seriously considder is upgrading the front brakes though. The drums feel realy soft.

Tom,you can't strap that box of toys to the BM.It will shoot straight through it
