Put a spanner on the little piece sticking out at "top right". Turn spanner and the elbow on the left goes up and down. Elbow fits in the jacking hole of the bus. :D

Note also that it has sort of a square fitting that fits into another, bigger, square thingy attached to the car. Being a square fitting, the jack may fit there in different positions. So also make sure it's not upside down or sideways in there.

On the car, you will also find another fitting that is more round. A beetle has 2. Do not stick your jack in there. That is the exhaust pipe.
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).

Just scratched around my childhood toys at my mom's house ---- and guess what I found ---- A genuine Dinky VW 1951 Split Beetle !!!!! Never knew it would be a collector's item today....wow!
