As soon as it's available...I need a spare because the SP might get sold to fund the Porsche one...

Dirk came by my place today Started the engine up. Carbs didn't have any fuel but poured some down the throats and it burst into life after much cranking...idled for a couple of seconds... The sound of this engine sputtering into life has got to have been the most awesome sound ever! :D

Did some scrounging around and found my disc brake spindles and backing plates. Just need to find some calipers, rebuild them, buy some new discs from one of the suppliers and the fasty will stop nicely. To be honest, after driving the Ratback, the stock drums are quite decent if you drive respectfully, but due to me wanting some nice wheels on this ride, the disc upgrade makes sense as they can be drilled to most any pattern, including Porsche

Fuel system is almost sorted, ran some solvent and a wire thru the centre line, got quite a bit of crud out. Amazing how much collects

Was offered another fastback this weekend, turned it down. All in the name of finishing this car and seeing the project through

Hello Blitzkrieg,

I want to sell my complete fasty body, and do have an engine too, some plates and parts short (complete sub).

R3000.00 for all.

Do have some papers for body, got the engine from my Dad but he passed in 2004, can't find any papers on engine.

Best Regards
Les

Okay, the only thing that needs to be done now is to weld in the seat subframes that I'm fabbing, and a small piece of the pan. Anyone knows where I can hire a Mig welder in the PTA area or hire someone's services? Buggoff too busy at the moment...
