On the back of my trailer it says:-
I'm half the car I used to be, I've done an on-line translation & its come back in German as:-
Ich bin die Hälfte der Wagen, den ich verwendet werden, um
Does anyone know if this is correct as when I translate it back to English it comes out:-
I'm half the car I used to
I'm going to make a sticker to go on the back window in German.

Just a small update, I've painted my fuse box cover as it stands out a bit too much in white:-
I've also replaced the pedal rubber on the clutch pedal as it was worn & starting to perish, although it looks OK in the photo, there is a big difference in the new & old:-

At the moment I'm a bit reluctant to anything on the bus as we are using it regular, we're off to a car show down Cardigan on Saturday, then the following weekend is Volksfest Wales. I do wan't to pull the engine again but I'm going to do this after Brighton Breeze. There is an oil leak from the fan end of the crank case, from the seal I think. But for now I'll just keep an eye on the level. The oil does make a bit of a mess on the trailer & the back of the van but I'll live with that for now. Then it will be a full engine strip down & I'll pull the gearbox the same time so I can clean it & detail it. Next year I hope to win a few more trophy's, there are a lot of nice vans out there so, mine needs to be better. While its out I might as well fit a new clutch, mine is good but I'm hoping not to pull the engine again for a few years.

Anyway a few pictures of my bus in the drive:-
Notice the shonky telegraph & electric pole outside my house blocking my drive, it really pisses me off Western Power want £3,000.00 to move it. It supplies electric to the 2 houses opposite me across the road & supports a telephone wire to a neighbor 2 doors up, what the flock has that got to do with me & why do I have to have it blocking my drive what can I do about this (apart from cutting it down)?
Untill I sell my beetle project taking up all of the garage Milly & Vanilly have to live outside, at least big brother is watching them:-

Changed my old hinge cover:-
The old one had discoloured
The new genuine OEM quality one, it has the same grain & is made by the original manufacturer, they are only sold as a pair & cost £60 I could have got them cheaper but I want the best.
Marked the new one 10mm bigger than the old.

We've never used our kitchen paper roll holder but I decided it's about time I did:-
Got some wast pipe I had in the garage, perfect size bore
Cut it to length
It's on, just need some matching kitchen roll now.
