Stunning, stunning, stunning, what show was it, where was it? Do you also own the blue/white bus? Is it a '62, would love
to see some more pics of it, is it a microbus?
The cooker looks in new condition, did you score it at the show ?
Cheers
Paul

The show was in Pretoria, Silverton, POMC, 3 Oct. Called aircooled heritage show.
OK story of the stove, I showed the bus to the previous owner and mentioned the stove, he then contacted his aunt the original owner and she got it for me. Still need to meet the old lady to get some stories.

Thats a nice happy ending for the stove, cool story, you must meet the old lady, hear the stories, get some old pics maybe, build up a nice history for the camper.
And the blue bus? Is that the original upholstery on the back seat, looks amazing? Are there pics on the forum of this bus?
So - you guys drove from KZN to Pretoria for a car show ?

Got it back from panelbeater still not 100%. Will have to live with it because 1 week job took 5 months. Need to find out where they mixed the paint for future reference.Fitted new indicator lenses front.
Jolas, Want to do it again in Aug will see closer to the time. Blue bus also got a story I am second owner and know the bus for ever, we grew up in the same neigbourhood. Inerior is mostly original, part of the seats were recovered years ago.

Hi Lowlight, I'd love to hear the story of the blue bus
When are you going to do a Cape Town trip in your Westy, my friend Hennie (the guy who owns the westy in your profile/avatar pic) is fascinated with the discovery and subsequent restoration of your Westy. We just love the whole story ..............
Cheers !
