So some bad news....no new pictures of Rosie.....sorry not back from the paintshop. :( We are going to have to wait for another week

But with every cloud there is a silver lining.....here are the front seats and one of the fully restored front lights.

very nice job on both the seats and lights. btw is it because of the new chromed reflecter behind the lens that the actual lens (glass) looks brighter?

Farhaad, it is brighter because of the rechromed insides....I can't believe how you can make bits that look wasted so good again. All this is the original bits refurbished. I think it takes a real skill to do, just like your reflectors...!

Thanks 72, Tom and KK! and everyone else....Jurgen was laughing when I talked to him today as he said that everyone would be upset not having a new picture of Rosie!

All my work on the beetle is done either by Jurgen or through him so I actually don't know. The only person I have met was Paul the painter. Jurgen's & Esme are part of the forum now and the workshop number is 021 845 4397 but to be honest, it might be best doing any jobs through him as then you get the best price.

If anyone is interested in what I'm looking for Rosie's interior to look like, then here's a preview. :D

I still don't know if Rosie will be back on Saturday or if it's going to be 4 weeks without seeing her

She's not back yet as issues with the rain, the paint mix, etc.....Esme & Jurgen will fill me in on Saturday but I do hope she's back! :zhelp:

I MISS HER!
