Does yours have A twin port motor . Does it come with a 1300 or 1600 motor . Got my 1303 with the engine removed think it has a knock will have to strip it .
Did yours have a duel brake MC aswell.
Mine originally had a 1300 motor in it from the factory (it does run a 1600 twin port these days though), yes it also came with the dual MC, I couldn't get a new RHD MC even on import, everybody sells the LHD version that has a different mounting than the RHD version, in the end I had mine sleeved with a stainless steel sleeve, works like a charm now.

Ok I fitted a lhs brake mc on my 69 beetle with the disk brake conversion and all new hard lines and flex able brake hoses .
Mounting is the same only the pipe fittings are on the other side .

Small update:
Moved the 1303 home a little while back, as you guys know I did a brake upgrade/redo/fixup on the car, when I was moving the car home I noticed that all the new brakefluid I had put in while bleeding the system was M.I.A.
I checked the calipers and the slave cylinders and no leaks, so I guess I'm in for some hard line replacement as everything else including the flexible hoses are new and checks out ok..
