It looks very nice... A lot like mine. Just one thing, can you adjust your timing without taking the exhaust off?

Thanks guys, I hope it look okay once i'm done Bugger.
I think the pics are a little misleading ron & gill, there's enough clearance between exhaust and dizzy to get your hand in there without burning.

I have notice on a friends buggy, it seems like the coating were to thin in some places and it starts showing rust. I have confronted the guy at powerkote about it and he said they will recoat if that happens. So i hope for the best and will be on the lookout for any rust on the exhaust.
Perhaps you must go back to them!

Nah! To late my radiator frame has been rebuilt after T-Boning a BMW a few years ago.

Why on earth do you ceramic a radiator frame? Epoxy coating would be sufficient?

I was more thinking along the lines of taking the belt cover off so you can see the timing marks?

Thanks Mario
I've seen a few ads for these cylinders kits in the states and notice they were guite expensive, even second hand. What i've also learned is that the empi gtv bug used these, so the guys that restore these bugs are looking for them.

Ja, 'zactly... I have pretty much the same set-up and I had to ditch my very nice alu-cast Badger belt cover

Get electonic ignition, then there's no need to fiddle with the timing that often

Ja, and when that broke is when I hung up my Badger. Exactly!

What kind of electronic ignition? If it's that little bastard that lives inside the dizzie, don't even bother with the cover.
