Today marks another milestone, we test fitted the body on the pan.
Everything looks like it lines up perfectly. The seats will fit but we'll have a little adjustments to do.
We got the front discs replaced with the spacers.
Enjoy the rest of the camera roll.
Body will come down about 1", the seat brackets are holding it up about 1". We're very happy with the result!

Love the look That curved screen really looks good. It will be interesting to check out the air flow on the driver etc... compared to the flat screen. (air noise).
Keep us posted...

Some amazing progress....
vincent9993 wrote:Made a little bit of progress today. We also opted to remove the protective tape, we were worried it would get too hard to remove if we kept it on for too long and with the cold comming.
We rolled it out in the sunlight to snap a few pictures. Enjoy.

If anyone cares to see the "making of" of the greetings picture and how our new buggy is not very efficient in our winter conditions:

Nice video, we see what you mean about chained tyres.
That ice is only a thin layer and it already makes it difficult to drive.
Love the fire in the workshop. ("garage" in SA)

Got to take care of the front end. France was on deck to help out. She got the POR-15 out again and covered everything!

Got to work on the wipers.
We had to reduce the length of the cam. It's still a little too long but it will work for now. I may try to shorten it a little more later.
France got the POR-15 out and coated everithing but her boots!
Final check before assembly

The punch list is getting shorter...
We got the seat belts sorted out with a little filing and tweaking of the buckles.
We also got the CHT mounted today.
Got some work done on the hood latch, I'm working on a hidden latch and we'll see if my engeneering will hold up to the real world.
Still on the punch list:
- Fix clutch TO bearing <- Parts ordered
- Backup lights <- Parts ordered
- Trunk lock
- Hood latch <- 50% done, waiting for 5200 to cure
- Soft top <- Need to order material this week
- Carpeting
- Heated seats <- Seperate build thread to follow soon
