Great to see the old shop and progress. Saturdays are not the same anymore and I miss them very much. Good news Bobbie and Mo have landed, cleared customs and should be collected this week. Will take pictures and post when they are here.

Gill went to see "the Notch" (we really do need to come up with a better name  ) and she said there is lots more progress. She said she (the Notch  ) looked very strange with all the fenders removed.

I was quite shocked to see all the debris on the oil cooler. But not surprised. Remember the smoke that came from the Eucaliptus leaves that lay the air intake plenums?

For Jeurgen: Did you do an end float check on the crankshaft yet?

Well, well, well...... I know that it has been a long time since the last post, but we have been very busy here at Grand Slam :)

Project Notch is well under way and we thought that the guys would like to see a bit of what has happened to "HER LADYSHIP" since you last saw her

Image

As you can see Juergen is quite serious about being a VW fan

This is how he has started "UNDRESSING" me
Image

AND MORE :(
Image

Look at the State of my fenders :!:

And then I was NAKED :zhelp:
Image

Just a peek at how Rusty my body is, never mind the Floor Pan
Image
Image

And now I'm at the Panel Beater to get all fixed up

More later when Aunty Es has taken some more pics of my progress :hangloose:

Still working on getting the rubbers. Have a quote from the UK.
