I have gone back a few times and checked the pics over, and would you beleive my 6 year old was watching making sure I would not drive away without her, even if it's just for a spin around the block. (see first pic on the left at the gate). She asked me again this weekend when am I going out for a spin. :hangloose:

The Volkswagen hood script is R290. Seatbelts are from Wolfsburg West in the US R560 for the set. The radio is from Retrosound cost me just over R2800 some time last year, when CIP1.com were running a special on them, not connected yet but it's in the pipeline.

There is about R15000 worth of accesories on this ride.

Had to save a little to get all these accesories. :D

Just got a new camera I will test the 12.1 megapixles on the interior :flash:

I got this car in 2005 and did a lot to it in the first 6 months, incl. fresh paint, I then made it a runner and stayed like that for about 3,5 years and then about 1 year ago built a fresh motor for it and parked the car. It sat for about 8-10 months. Only in the past couple of months did I get my ass in gear and get it finished, well almost not there yet. Moving house, building at the new house and many other stumbling blocks lead to this one taking so long, all my rides are on going projects, they are never finished, allways doing some changes fixes etc. :D

I never did a project thread as I was not allways able to up load pics due to restrictions here at work (and we all know the dudes would not beleive me if I had no pics so it took none :x ) i did take one ir two pics here 7 there but nothing worth posting now.

Any spares I needed I got as I went along, only have a 36 HP engine for it and a few nuts & bolts :)

Beautiful car Rui. As good as the best of them.

You might be interested to know that Dave Rowley is making 12V solenoids for semaphores. When I was last there, he was testing some, like, up-down-up-down for a couple of days... I have handed mine in (for Gill's bus) to him for modification to 12V.
