Re: What's next......!!!!!! I thinks it's a buggy :)
Many buggies are moulded with the colour in the gelcoat, but some are painted afterwards. Like any other car, painting a buggy is all about PREPARATION. If you take great care in filling and smoothing out any stress cracks on the shell, your end result will be perfect. Normal MS primer with an automotive top coat should do the trick.

Re: What's next......!!!!!! I thinks it's a buggy :)
OK, so I saw a nice buggy today and decided to check with the wife.
Bad idea....she said "I thought you were only joking" The only car I'm going to let you buy is Beetle convertible!

So the Buggy's out....I'm going to try and convince her to let me buy a normal bug not convertible as I've only ever seen on of them here....

Only car she's going to let you buy??
Not allowed to go to the social?
You're a little 'whipped there son.....you gotta show her who is boss! Yeah - show her
Oh no wait................................................
It is her.......
Going to have to do some serious persuasion there Frank - it's a buggy you want, not a cabriolet. A man's car, not a girl's car.......

Re: What's next......!!!!!! I thinks it's a buggy :)
hey dutch just picture it u in the manx with the sound of the perfectly set carbs like music to the ear ,flying down the highway and having the papparazzi taking photos of it then take your sunglasses off and realise the paparrazzi are the speed cameras going off as you enter pretoria then while you waiting at the first robot you get hit by a taxi from the left and then from the right and now are fully awake to find its your wife who u woke up while making car noises and flashing sounds from the cameras just gave you two slaps for waking her up at 2:00 in the morning
