Ahh OK
That is just something that I saw in either ultra Vw or V world mag :D
I just think that it looked 8) with that piece like that, But I need to make a brace for it so that it does not bend upwards.
If I do get tired of it I can always cut it off.

So will it help you to pick up more seatcovers? Or let them show you their hooters? Or is it just for shits and giggles?

I suppose I'll just have to wait till it's Finnish to see what the end result is......

Nice colour. Looks really good.

Are you going to run a extended front end? Or just turn the front suspension around to increase the wheelbase.

So sorry Barry :(
Its too late for you now, your car is looking so good now you cant start cutting corners now 8)
As I said before this is a quick project to get rid of some surplus parts that I have laying around, and if someone wants to buy it oneday then that is also OK

What paint did you use for the inside, Mellow? Is it normal Matt Black or Chassis Black? And what brand?

In any case, the pan is looking beautiful. Now get that body on there

Thanks for posting the pics blitz :drunks:
I used a chemical resistant paint, Carboline 938 (red) and Carboline 188 HB (black)
The inside of the pan is done with a "special" technique  which gives it that matt look and rough texture :D :D
The body has already been mated with the pan but as of yet I do not have any pics
But as usual you will be the first to see them (sorry make that second  )

I am guessing the idea would be to make it into a leading arm, rather than trailing arm design

While I am sure it would still go down the road, I'm not sure I'd want to be in the vicinty.......
