You gonna give us a cost posting of the engine as well as total hours spent on building this beast???
For my own sanity I did not keep track of the prices. If I would esimate the engine, fuel injection and turbo setup is in the region of R65k. Parts only, not even to mention the labour aspect.
Very nice!! An inspiration to us all !!
Hope I can see it in action !!!
Keep up the good work!!
Thanks Wentzel.

I highly doubt that would happen, it's got all the right bits. But yes I'd cry like a girl.

The drag bug's engine is almost done. Just a couple of small things left, then it's the final jigging up of the chassis and components before it all will be sent through for power coating.
That thing is going to be a monster.

We're hoping for + - 250 wheel kw @ 1.5 bar boost. With that kind of power to weight ratio we should be into the 9's easy. Time will tell.

Hey Dubster,
I dont really deal with them. I can get the same parts as they do at a much better price.
I know Mr. Peter Chadwick builds bulletproof engines but it comes at a price. he does line boring at R500 compared too others that do it for R350.
Head I will send down to George for the guys to do it there...
Then again we could hunt
4Agedub down and hold a gun to his head to build us some kinda performance motor....he got it waxed...lol
