Well after issue and issue with both the website and small niggly things on my car.
I have an update for you guys. A lot has happened in the last few weeks, the car is already sprayed, 90% of the trim has been polished and already put back on the car. The rear lights, bumper as well as new wiring harness has been laid throughout the whole car. As well as a new fuse box as the one under the dash was both a total bitch to get to if a fuse ever did blow as well as so crusty, it was begging for a wire related fire to happen.
The night she came back home, towed by Willem. It took a little over two weeks to spray the car, working on weekends only. The paint is not 100%, I mean what do you expect for R2200-00, but I'd put it at about 90%. There are a few very small isuues that need to be sorted out once the car is finished, but they are so small, no-one would really notice.

Bumpers wrapped up inside, one one had to be repaired and reinforced for the new brackets to be mounted. At this stage believe it or not, she still drives. Allbeit with the a very dodgy wiring harness.

The next day was a public holiday at my work (canada day) so I had an extra day to start cracking as well as two days leave after that, so I had 3 days to get working on the car, drilling out rivets and marking where badges and scripts are going to go. The scripts have been a bloody nightmare and I ordered OEM porsche stuff which was made for stock thickness steel/ ali. Not 4-5mm fibreglass, so I ended up going to BMW and getting some grommets as well as some really strong double sided tape that mounts them just that little bit more.
Took some quick pics the next morning, this colour is flat out WOW. Porsche Ivory L505 and man it's a classic looking colour. I didn't want something that other people would use and this colour is a bit boring to many, but with the trim in place it really looks like the real deal.

The interior looks great. The gauges will have to wait to be refurbished, but they all at least work now 100% and I can easily remove them to clean and detail them later down the line. The main thing now is to get the car running again and to get work done on my motor.
