I found out that they are actually 2 DKW Bike's The owner has not seen them for a long time so they might not be as cool as I thought. As I said I'm picking them up tomorrow and will post pics

i found 2 chrome beetle teardrop side mirrors at the scrap yard (paid R10)

I found a 1977 Venter trailer that's been standing in a garage for the past 20 years. Still owned by the original owner who ordered it directly from the factory. It was delivered by train and it still has the original tyres.

Here are the pics as promest
the red one is a 1958 and the blue is a 1969 I spent 2 hours working on the red one and its now running and the front light works
The red one is missing its seat and well ya thats about it and the blue one is missing its papers and the engine is seesed \, will have a look and see how bad it is tomorrow but Im at the sea for the next while so I dont have great tools or place to work

They are both 49cc with 3 gears. The red one now starts first time every time and the blue one I have stripped and when I pushed on the piston with a old piece of a dropper it came loose and I have put the motor back together and there is normal compretion. The motor is still out of the bike becaus Im cleaning out the old rust tanks. There is a spark even so its just going to be sorting out fuel for now

Just to let you guys know I got the blue one running all thats missing is a little screw that holds the clutch cable in the handle. Then I can drive it

Thats rights they going to get cleaned up and I might have a few things rechromed and the tank cleaned out. I stil have to finish my 64 beetle before I start doing any of that though. I love the mug
