"Mo" is back :drunks: ....running like a dream but not sure if any of you are like me.....a little perfectionist? :zhelp: But the first thing I had to do was clean her, inside and out as the dirty from a month in the workshop had got into everything.....

Had to try and get the oil stains off the panels again  Pointed it out the the owner again...he was also not happy with his mechanics. :(

Then the indicator that they said was not for my bus, didn't fit.....I fitted in about 1 hour on and wired. :D
The period volt meter that they also said wasn't work was fitted and replaced the VDO one they put in (was very nice of them) :D
Then the lights no longer worked (found that out last night at 9:30 when I had to drive home from a party), I did wonder what the mechanic was referring to when I drove off saying I really do need to get a new light switch! They are now working again...faulty wiring :)

Anyway, she's home with only 2 further paint chips  (doesn't that piss you off) but then no one cares for your stuff more than you so you can't expect anything different can you.... :?

So can you believe it....it never ends.... :(

Mo is obviously upset that Rosie is getting all the attention at the moment. We have been working on the gear selection (front to back) and it's ended in having to place another order with CIP1.com in the USofA.....so another $308 later and we all pray the parts arrive and make it through SA Customs without to much extra pain.

So anyway, both my vehciles are stuck at Jurgen's and I have nothing to play with :( I need another toy....any ideas?

lol. Frank, do you stay near the coast in the UK, perhaps a buggy is not a bad idea? How about a BAJA bug?!

Are you still allowed to drive vehicles on the beach in the Uk - maybe I should ask that this be moved to a new thread?

KK, It's my thread so can stay here! I used to live in Bournemouth which is on the seaside before coming here. There are still a few beach that you can drive on but they are becoming much less. The best one I have been on is Pendine Beach which is 12 miles long and there in the old days they used to set land speed records in the UK.

Now that we have to go back, the misses and I have been thinking of moving closer to London as that's where most of the jobs in my field are...that or Edinburgh which isn't really warm or dry enough for me.
