what have I done on my car today... NOTHING!
what have I done on my car in the past three weeks... NOTHING!

Replacing old busted gearbox with newer one, and mechanic told me it would take four days; it has now been three weeks!!!!!!

Hoping, praying, wishing that I can go pick up the car this afternoon and it will be sorted; regardless, i'm fetching the damn car today!

On Wednesday we removed the engine and gearbox from the bay. The old engine was stripped of it's cooling plates. They will be used on the interim engine.
Under the watchful eyes and sharp tongue of a fellow forum member, I started cleaning the gearbox and some of the cooling tin, today. :D

Fitted my new fuel pump.
Vader assisted me in getting my engine started.
Then both of us did the final bit of wiring that was needed.

Also had to clean half a litre of oil off the floor after a tappit cover gasket got sucket into the cover.....

She sounds sweet!!!!
