Took my Belly Pan off for some TLC:-



I got a set of clocks that I want to fit, I want to keep my original clocks but with this posh housing instead, the heating symbols light up:-

Had to remove my alternator again as its not charging, I'll drop it off in Shorts Electrical tomorrow for repair.

While my alternator is at Shorts Auto Electrical I thought I'd play with my dash, story in pictures:-

Anyway after looking at the two clocks I have decided to re-fit my originals & sell on the spare set. I do like the colored heater leaver decals but I couldn't bring myself to fit it. I'll take the opportunity though to clean mine while they are in bits.
Stripped my original clocks right down, inc the clock glass:-


Cleaned them thoroughly & reassembled them:-



I just got to fit them back in the van now & sell these on:-

Got my alternator back from Shorts, fantastic job, it was mint looking going but I can see they have painted it & it looks slightly better:-

Refitted my original clocks back in today, they look so much better clean so it wasn't a wasted effort:-




Refitted my spanking alternator, she fired up first time lights went off & she works a treat, I'm very happy:-

When I went to Boardmasters the A-frame I used broke my steering damper, I've been putting off looking at it properly expecting it to have broken some sort of bracket on the beam, luckily it has only broken the damper itself, even better news is that the damper has no resistance so it was worn out anyway.
That's a job for tomorrow night, fit the new one:-

Bought a new washer bottle cover from Just Kampers, it arrived today & I fitted it:-

Gavin in Custom Classics is shot blasting & painting my belly pan:-

I noticed on the way to Bristol that my radio didn't work & my hands-free mobile function in the same radio hasn't worked since the rebuild at the start of the year.
I fixed both of these today, the radio fault was the fuse, this probably blew when my daughters boyfriend reversed the battery connections, the hands-free fault proved to be a pulled wire on the plug. I've soldered this wire back on now & its working again
