Rikus,

Luckily it is a hobby and not a business..let just say that...and what does not cost money these days? I have had the privilege to buy a few things over the years and tried to be as tasteful as humanly possible. I had to post a thread on my 63 to run it past the ACVWSA taste brigade...before I take it to Ferdi's Swap meet...ha ha!!! So far....no dings yet!!!

Thank you and Veemal for the kind words,

Very well done old friend... I spy one two or three Cape Town parts on that there beauty.... What I admire more is the restraint used to not have added to them to just any old car, and rather waiting for the correct one.

Now let me see those Knecht carburettor filter set ups...

Muds,

Yep...as always you do not miss a thing....those Capetown parts came in handy...just waiting for you to release some more things from your treasure trove...LOL!!! My 63 is in need of a Hazet toolkit...

Will send you the parts list later....

The knecht filters are currently on my wife's car....almost sounds like" my other car's a Porsche" LOL!!!

There is a few more tricks in the bag....guess you have to come and visit us Vaalies to see...?

I had no choice but to practice restraint...the "Bank Manager" caught me once to often on the Samba and PayPal...eish broer!!

Thanks for the compliment,

Regards,

Those wheels are absolutely amazing, are they now being reproduced? :hangloose:

All those little bits add up...perfect package.

Blitzkrieg,

They are still made by Rodabras Brazil to the day....just expensive as hell. They are called Fumagalli wheels!!!!! The shipping is what kills you with it being steel wheels. The caps are near impossible to get and even Rodabras Brazil hardly ever have stock. Pain in the butt. I had the caps made by a friend and we just copied real ones....that plus the logo's on the caps. Not a lot of people from South Africa know about the variety of wheels that came out of Brazil...but these are my favorite of the lot and resemble the early Cragar and American Racing muscle car wheels from the US.

Thanks for the compliment....

Thanks for that, didn't know that they were still being made! They have even made an aluminium version of the Rostyle in Brazil, so certainly a nice variety of wheels from there...

Blitzkrieg,

Got really upset one day with some people on the ACVWSA Forum and went "offline".

Sometimes you just have to otherwise we end up saying things we regret...

Will repost under Projects vehicles where both my cars should have been in the first place.
