Hi Wentzel. Thanks, i will do so. I must say thanks to you guys for the help and info so far and for the help in the future. Getting close posting the motor parts and the Cb Hideaway sedan turbo headers.

Some low can you go photos. Before the front beam went back in, the car were standing on stands and i spend some weeks taking of all the paint on the pan and treating it with anti-rust, well, about 1 liter of anti-rust and 3 liters black lead pained and rubberising. will take some photos of this later on to show how it looks.

Brake setup. Replaced all the pipes, front and back. Good tip, replace all the rubber brake pipes to when you busy with it. I only did the front, and on the day bleeding the brakes, big crap happened. Back brakes don't want to bleed. This way, that way, test all the pipes, founded out that back rubber pipes swelled up because of age and standing. Running disc brakes front with vented disc and rear 4 stud rear drums that Dave made to 4x100 pcd and duel circuit master cylinder.

Some photos of the lights and lenses. New front indicators lenses and rubbers. I used my old chrome ones because they still looked really good and the ones that came with the set was that crap plastic chrome stuff. New golf lights in front and new rear lenses to. I change the inside of this to LED lights like the CSP ones. Work's really nice and sharp. Was just a bit of a story to find a set that will fit in nice. This how they came out.

Build my own LED number plate light.

Then the fun part of car builds start, what rims will i use on my car. I found that the BBS LM and RS rim that was used on the Porsche racing cars can work for me because of the nice look of it, and it will give that German look to the beetle that i want. What a story to find a set with offset on them. The part that *^)*^&) me off when you go down to tire shop and they say they don't have stock, you order and then they never come back to you.

So i founded a set of nice rims from a wheel shop around the corner of my work and the guy was willing to help. I ended up with a set of Lenso BSX that looks like the BBS RS and they were in white. Were looking for black but at the end of the day the white fit in nice with the yellow. The front is 16x7.5j and the rear ones a nice 16x9.5j. So the rear i can fit a nice wide tire when i planning to change the fenders to wider ones.

Still running the standard gearbox and will see how it will keep with the turbo setup and the old sway bar. Will change to the new version with the new motor. Gearbox is mount down with Urethane trans mounts and Padded trans support kit and a rear truss bar.







The front trans mount was the wrong one. I needed the 2-bolt noise cone one.

Rear suspension: First plan was to pull the plates on the splines to drop it. So i made a tool to help with that because is heard some nice story's of plates jump of under tension and taken people legs off. after a few hours of fedeling , and putting the wheels back on, the drop look nice, but the problem was the engine was not in yet, so i change over to adjustable rear plates and i will say this is the best way to go.

New bumpers rear and back, sad to prime this damn expensive stuff when you buy the original ones from the dealer. plans was to chrome them before i change my mind to make them the same color as the car.

Some photos of the Interior. I laid out the hall beetle from front to back and the roof with 12mm foam to keep the road sound down, and used heavy carpeting to give it long lasting use. The roof lining is the empi one. Tip from the pro's , take your time and days getting this thing in, and so i did, with help of Google. Rear seat and the panels done by CB trimmers. The Recaro SPG seats was imported from the States. Friend of mine sorted me out with them. This is the sets that they use in the GT Porsche racing cup cars in that time. Momo steering wheel, 5'' Tacho meter, EMPI Hurst shifter, SQP 3" safety belts.

Did you test fit those seats before you ordered them or just took a chance hoping you will fit in them? That was my biggest fear with my Recaros - not fitting into them
