Just a Idea.......
Look for a spare body and pan, that is a bit better then the one you got.
Run your car with a few pop-rivits and "For Sale " signs, then you fix the spare body right up to paint, then on one week, build every thing from this one into the fixed up body and pan....pressto!... one new beetle......

Ja Im starting to think the same, It would be easier , I would really like to find the same bodyas I like the look of the curved windscreen. That will be my next mission.

So after a few weeks of struggles i finally got my donor beetle or should i say my new project beetle as it looks way better than my one.

Yes its a possibility ! Havent quite made up my mind yet. Will probably only decide after primer.
