Twenty-four years just waiting for a chance,
To tell her how I feel, and maybe get a second glance,
Now I gotta get used to not living next door to Alice...

Alice? who the Fudge is Alice?

Just spoke to the guy and he is a very old fashion kind of guy. Any way he said that it was his dad's car and that "there is no way in hell that he will sell the car" which is very unfortunate but there is just nothing I can do about. So sorry about that but I tried

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Hows about that crane?   Just kidding! Good on you for asking and on the upside, at least you know it's something of value to them. Agreed; anyone of us would probably take care of it slightly differently but they have it and it has sentimental value to them and there can be no interfering on our part there.
It's stock and has been all this time. (Hopefully no snot-nosed great-grandson will inherit it and chop it up into something horrific!)

It only dawned on me last night that that car appears to be the colour mine was when it came out the box! And the year is the same too! Haunting.
