Definitely not a 40,s Beetle....

The first giveaway is the dash and the wrong steering wheel. 40's beetles should have the 3 spoke steeering wheel. Check last months Volksworld with the 1946 split... still when the english were controlling Autostadt....

Should look similar to this.... no chrome... no beadings.... 16 inch wheels... the sexiest bumpers ever... 1 pc windows...

The chances are that the one in KZN is a 52.They were built from Dec 51.So a SA one would most likely be registered as a 52.

Still,it looks like a very nice bug.
