I like what I'm reading.... Have you been able to run it on a dyno yet? I would be interested to see some power/torque curves after the conversion compared to a petrol...

I could not make out from the pic's (a bit dark) how the it joins the manifold and where?... Sorry the helmet makes everything very dark when I'm indoors....

Interesting conversion. What is the gas consumption compared to petrol ? Heard LPG conversions use slightly more, but then in some countries LPG is cheaper than petrol.

What is the cost difference in your country between LPG and petrol ?
Dawie and eben

Here in Oz gas currently is about 45 c p litre and petrol is about $1:05 p litre. Always seem to be about 1/2 of what the UK pays

We have a Dyno Day later on in the year so might put it on to get some results.

Cheers

Gas is around R3.20

Petrol is around R6.98.

Petrol is more or less what we pay,but your gas is much cheaper.

Running on gas makes it much more fuel efficient and much cheaper, with the benefits of extra power. All that can make it not worth the while is if the conversion would be very expensive.

But that doesn't seem to be the case.

This could be a good alternative to petrol.

Nice conversion ,
Mate I like the sound of the government $2500 rebate would be nice if we coyuld get the same, what sort of $ did the conversion (only, not engine work )cost? I seem 5to remember gas was about half the the cost of ULP when I was last in Sydney? PM
