That bus was redone at my bud's place and it cost him less than R20000 to do it over less than 2 months ago.

SambaOwner: Is your price R120 000 or R12 000? Also, this is not a fleetline
Seller : hi there yes it is R120000.00, and yes it is a fleetline, I just have not replaced the trim, but I do still have it all
SambaOwner: Hi Mark No it's not a Fleetline. The Fleetline was a Splitwindow bus made in Brazil, only sold in South Africa between late 1974 and early 1976. What you have is a German Baywindow bus. R120 000....very optimistic!
Seller : I concede, this is the information that was given to me, I just restore old cars and make lots of money off them., my main line is Mercedes Benz, so if I am wrong, OOOOOPS. you say that I am optimistic? I have sold about seven in the UK at the related price, first time I am advertising on Gumtree though.
Mark L. Jacobs

wow seven thats R840 000

I will do the same when the Pomes decide that CitiGolfs are super cool. I will call myself oldgolfs.co.za and start sending them away to The Island in their thousands.
*end daydream*

ha 120k for a bay with a shitty paint job..dream on. these things sell for only 4k in the uk. I must say i`m amused by the south africans seeing some busses for sale in the uk and then adding a 1000 pounds on top and hoping to sell...saw a sa split in volksworld last month at a ridiculous price..theres shipping and associated costs to add to the sale price.hahahaha. Good luck though but dream on. My limited knowledge says that he`d be lucky to get £3k. Here in the island we are seeing a drastic reduction in prices

this guy says he has sold 7 of these in the UK.... now that either says something about the amount the buyers have to spend, or the intellectual capacity of the buyers of those 7 previous buyers.

...or perhaps it says something about the seller?
