Right,I got 98% of the body putty 100% :) just work on the last bit and its in for priming on Friday,then im away till Jan 9th or 10th,so i can only get it painted next month,then its trim shopping,il post pics of the bus once primed,then painted,

Sorry, somehow I missed your previous question.

Lead filling is basically lead 'body putty'. If the surface is properly prepped, it wont rust, fall off, bubble. The problem is that it is not easy and can get expensive realy quick. It also adds more weight than normal body putty. However, if done correctly, you wont regret it. It is normally the way cars were repaired in the 'dark ages' :roll: :wink:

hhhmmm.....its a dying art lead filling!! i got my dad to teach me while he was still willing and able and had the interest to do it. I'm not sure on cost though, but it does work like a dream.

Mellow,im back in Gangsters Paradise,let me know when we should start spraying,im going to start flatting and do a few repairs to the body during the course of the week,just go over what im not happy with.(my shitty workmanship)......

I want the bus finnished for the Kamp out,i flatted the car down yesterday,and its raining today..... :) got to love the weather,....none the less,work on it on sunday till im happy with a few of the repairs,then confirm with Mellow for the spraying,...so iv got like 12 days......feeling the presure!!!
