Hi all,

Yesterday I collected the steering wheel from Shane, aka 1972, from HR and it looks great.

Put the front wheel back on after a respray from yesterday.

Cheers

Disembowelled Ol' Betty, seats out, vinyl carpets out, “sound proofing” thingy out too, then in came the vacuum.
Eish, the battery acid is chowing her, any suggestions about what to do in the battery bay?

Took the rear bumper off too, cleaned the black strip, want to put a reflective tape so I may be seen at night. Thinking RED reflective as opposed to the amber 3M stuff, but might be the cheaper option.

Reinforced the inner structure and started to skin the L/H door on the VolksRodster - it's great to steal time from the day job

Finally pushed the blitzmobile out of the garage where it has been sitting for the past year! I want to clean it up, bolt the fenders and sort out the brakes so that we can tow it to Dirk's place. :)
