Not 100% sure when I will be coming to SA, there is talk of only in mid Feb I will definitely know end of August.
I really don't want to miss next year's Palooza... so to speed matters up I have sent out a RFQ to have all the mechanical, suspension and electrical done before I arrive home next year, thus allowing me enough time to finish off the small odds and ends e.g. E-brake, pedals, weather strip, additional fiberglass pieces, deck-lid catch, scissor roof and chrome plating then its off to the upholsters to do the carpets and seats. While she is at the upholsters, this will allow me time to finish off the header bow.
Lastly Road Worthiness....???
I personally think give me two weeks after I arrive in SA and Black sheila will be at next year's Palooza she will be there but topless :flash:

Hi Manny I agree completely on the statement Enough is enough. I also want to drive the thing and we all know I just might not become old enough I arrived at my dimensions by taking lots of measurements in relation to the hood opening on a well used 356A of 57 vintage. a template of the bonnet curve will be very helpful Roger

Update:

The Black Sheila is finally out of paint, Garth still needs to fit all the small bits and pieces and then it is ready for collection.
I am hoping end of August, then its off to do some mechanical, suspension and electrical work.
The nose job makes a huge different and I am very pleased with the modification.

Hi Gary,

It seems I will be back home in SA mid January till end of February, if you going to organize a get together please arrange it towards the 3rd weekend in February.
At this point in time this is the plan.
