Jong the tjorrie looked so sweet with the rostyles....not sure about those more modern wheels, but they are still old school. I would search around for a set of Sprintstar wheels and make them 4.5j using the hoops from the Rostyles you have. This way you will have that nice tucked in effect(Wheels in the acrches) and the nicest wheels ever made by Lemmertz vw. Just my 5 cents.

I own a two owner 64 Notch in sand beige and currently running the 145/60/15's in front and 165/65/15's in the rear and all rims are Rostyle. Notch runs a few inches form the ground in front and serious camber in the rear. People duck when they see the car coming....they are thinking Mexican Mafia and driveby shooting at the same time...ha ha!!! I am currently busy with a set of Sprints that I have in my collection that I am making 4j in front and 4.5j in the rear....they will beb fitted to my stufenheck(Notchback) very soon.

Kind regards,

So... 10 days later and the goblin is back at home after its long time in storage.

Did 35mph behind my tow mate coming home... was interesting :P

Started by quickly snapping a pic of the wheels I want to fit.

Looks good imho. But for now wheels go back in storage.

So started fixing the floor today. Want to finish it by tomorrow night quick. Then onto the rear brakes.

But that's it for now

Thanx! :D

So floor is 99.9% done. Just needs another coat of paint. But battery tray is now nice and strong. Will still redo the pan at some stage... but not now. Just want to get it running.

tomorrow night will be time for the rear brakes. Need to take them apart and see where the leaks are. Then... refitting all the motors parts again and motor going in this weekend.

Now I've got a tiny problem... need to get my geni redone. :( sigh... so will get that done month end. Well that's it for now. :)

Hopefully they will work. M10 1.5mm thread 8.8HT. 100mm long.

Tonight I'm putting the tinware back on the engine and putting the carb back on too.

This weekend I'll jack it up to do the rear brakes.

So this weekend so far was a bust... house sitting so can't do anything :( well put most of the engine tinware back just the back panel. Then carb and coil. Bolts fit 100%. So will try fit the motor tomorrow when I'm home. Progress is progress I guess.

So no motor fitted yet :+ but getting there. Carb is back on and tinware too. I've also stripped the geni. now I need to get new bushes, derust everything and get 2 new bearings for the front and back. Also does anyone know if you still get the inside coils? The ones bolted to the side of the geni?

Anyhow. Will try and get the motor in this weekend :/

Normally the coils in the Genny do not give problems, the insulation may break down, but the coils should still work.

You can dip it in Insulating varnish, or have used oil paint in the past.

If its a small patch, you can seal it with rapid epoxy, the twin tube mixing kind.
