With or without the AK 47 and razor wire?
Had a good leave but too short... didn't start out so good either.
I did drive Rumours
, and the new Amarok
, started the Golfie (no probs)
, started the boat (major probs, in fact, it started but wouldn't run, carbs full of 2-stroke oil gell-muck, laying down a smoke screen Her Majesty's Royal Navy would be proud of)
.
Successfully completed my PADI Rescue Diver Course and did 9 dives.
Drank lots of beer and completely f-ed-up one steak braai, sorry Gill, but made up for it by making one mean Durban curry (lamb) and a fettucini el funghi with bacon, cream and home made pasta, lovely with a nice bottle of crisp white wine. Oh yes! And Gill's favourite, bangers and mash (but without the bangers) with a onion Bisto brown sauce.
Did see TonyZ and Monique, they popped in for a visit, and ended it all by seeing Vader at the Spur at the airport.
Next home date is early May.

My time is coming again.... I am flying out Friday 3 May.
My rotation dates have been changed a bit, so its only 7 weeks this time, but I'll get it all back....
And this time, no builders, I dont want these fkers ruining another holiday period.
Plus, it'll be my first birthday at home in 10 years... so I'm looking forward to it.
