What did I do on my car today? Walked past it..............again. Seems like everyday is the same. (damn stupid non-existent concrete garage floor :evil: )

Well started the buggy today after the not so good rewiring execise and felt quite good, although I will probibly do most of it over. At least I know what happened down there and I can fix it myself.
O and I washed the P again ,took it for a spin in town with spannerman actually asking to remove the targa roof .

Wondered why it was running rough..........................took the tappet cover off, found the offending rocker and gave it a little jiggle only to find the rocker retaining bolt was loose, FCUK !!!!!!!, after tightening it all, decided to fix the choke that hasnt worked in a while !!!!!!!!!!!

Redone the back brakes on my brother's baja as well as tuning the engine and sorting out all the small faults yesterday before it goes through roadworthy today

New rear brakes that Bugger put in bedded in nicely now so adjusted brakes all round with those joyous star adjusters. Stops like a trooper now - a bit of a shudder though but I just tell the passengers it's ABS :lol:

The shudder def comes from the front We can sort them out one day for you

finally picked up my widened rims, took it for epoxy coating and the agony of waiting for it begun. cant post any pics. keep gettn a message that the file is too big. :toilet:

o yes, worked i bit on the restoration of my steering, easier that i thought. however i am looking high and low for the three bolts with the little plastic gadgets that hold the hooter piece to the steering. steering coms off a 66 beetle. anybody!!!! thanx :zhelp:
