Type 4 with the majority of it modified. 2309cc, twin spark (bitch to change the bottom plugs), S/S valves 48 & 38mm, MicroTech management, 40mm Precision throttles, 500cc balanced Weber mini injectors, FK89/90 cam, counter weight crank, slim flywheel, valve springs, chrome moly retainers, push rods, Clutch Master clutch, Bugger 'box, etc. etc.

Nice one.... why didnt you go bigger on the throttle bodies?

The ports are at about 41mm, the intake valves at 48mm (clever people say a ratio of 1.2 to 1 (valve to port)is correct), so it made no sense to go for 45mm throttles.

When I put the motor together on paper I tried to keep everything balanced, i.e. Ram air tube to throttle to port size to valve size to header size to collector size. I tried to avoid the concept of "as big as possible"...even though everything is quite sizeable.

Yes, there are drums all the way around. The day I can find adapters for my 911 calipers and rotors I'll fit them. Any ideas? :?

Wow - that is one MEAN Buggy. I like that a lot, it just looks fast even when standing still.

What did you do to the front windscreen? lowered it? Do you still fit behind it or are you getting bugs in the beard? :D
