Here's a quick update pic:
Bonnet pushed forward 150mm, and starting to play around with reshaped wheel wells.
This is all kind of seat of the pants, play-it-by-ear design - not always the healthiest approach....But I do have a picture in my mind of the end product.
Now to find more time...

Barry,
I like the way you are going about with this one, moving the bonnet forward. Only the keen eye will pick that out from the rest. However, I am interested tp see how the front looks with that 150mm between the bonnet and window. Unfortunately pictures will not give the ful effect, however it is better than trying to imagine it

You are right - proportions may be skewed (or is that screwed..) if the windscreen is left as is. The plan is to do a DuVall style windshield like this: I am more concerned about getting the proprotions and flow of the rear correct though....
