Can you fit IRS rear clip and box to a splitty combi?
I'm sure with enough patience (and $$$) anything is possible, but I would suggest fitting the rear suspension from a Bay to convert your splitty to IRS - it should be easier to source?
I have a very nice book that deals with all the issues of doing conversions on the suspension of splittys and bays. I could let you have a look at itf or a price.

Anyway - went to the swop meet at VW Heritage day in Silverton today, thanks to the organisers for a SUPER event! Had a 'shopping list' of a few parts I needed for the buggy, but as it goes with swop meets -

1. I did not find everything on the shopping list :|
2. I did however buy the few things on the shopping list that I could find
3. I also bought a few things NOT on the shopping list, that will come in handy
4. I bought a few things that I have no idea what to do with, but alas 'the price was good'
5. Sold a few things that I have no use for, thanks for the support :hangloose:
6. Gave a few things away only so that I won't need to take it back home again! :flash:

Anyway, stay tuned..

Pine, just out of interest's sake, what is the going rate for the WBX distributor? Where would be the best place to buy one from??

They say anything below R 500 is a bargain - perhaps I was just lucky?

...although I felt like throwing the damn thing through the garage window on Saturday

Was thinking about it Blitz, and I was very hopeful, but it doesn't sound very promising.
I am however tracking down another Fasty.
