I saved the bus from an exporter last year and it’s been with Jan at Centurion Lada since. They have to sort some rust issues and so on. Taking time...
German export to Rhodesia through Port Beira, owner lived in the bus while immigrating to SA in the 80’s. She was in use till a few year ago. Had problems with the 6v battery and left the bus standing.
Thanks Suzie. I’ve been a member for a while... see my other cars (in storage while in London) 60 bug, 64 bug, fleetline pickup, 57 bug sold to make space for 64 bus...

It was definitely not an easy decision! With storage for only 4 cars… 64 - my first restoration, 60 from VW museum with original 23k miles. The 57 went to a good home.

I am excited about the bus as it’s a bit more practical.

I'd die for a collection like that......very nice line up!!!!! Have to be honest though, I would have just added another garage or converted the kids room to store the Oval too....
