Think you shoun`t show this to the seatcover other wise you got some serious graft ahead
This was done for a friend of mines wive `s beetle about 12years ago and the bug is still not built
I used that chassis for display at the Bugfest in 2001 on my stand but there was Quite mixed reactions over it
And some very wierd comments

Looking good so far man

Just some info what I did before when I used stone chip on one of my buggie is that I sprayd 2K clear coat over every thing it gives it that shiny show look But the most important thing is Cleaning is made so easy Coz when you drive all the :bn: and sand goes in all the small holes but with the clear coat paint you basically just wipe or rinse it off with a hose

thanks bugger...yep im also a fan of clearcoat takes all the beating so that the colour doesnt get it...but i dont control the budget so we will have to see if i can get some..im also trying to stop the seatcovers dad from trying some wierd ideas...like using wall paint on the gearbox "cos it will be easier to clean"!?!?
