On second thought the Kazakh vodka is just as good for the heart and you don't have to go see doctor. Well maybe afterwards.Bugger wrote:Seems that you need to start stocking up on those the hart pilletjies that is HEHEHe

Thanks FFF. With Bugger's help I'm sure it's going to be a stunner. Can't wait to get to the backside. That's were the real fun is going to be.

Santa stoped past today and droped off some spares
Will post some pics soon
Some Heavy duty running boards these things are blessing they are basicaly OE thick steel and strong it was the first time I sow this imported coz every one brings inn these cheap thin plate running boards
And some Alliminium Back calipers
these things are beautifull I want to frame them and hang them up
The tail light lens assemblies I got OE as well for the price differance between the brazil import and the OE when the bug was painted I did the Elephant feet holders so that is what is going on ye one always want to put the smaller ones on but a new set of Elephant feet lail lights looks very good aswell
Got some Bosch Brake pads
so the stopping power is going to be up the bar with vents up front

This is before the stickers are removed and the valet
Here is Beetlefanatics bay bus aswell

And after this actually a very nice buy drives nice and not been butcherd
Just the seats has seen the best of days

Some more updates Later

Blitz I think Bugger got them at VS, but not sure from which car.
Crossdrilled disc look very cool. I was going to put vented discs in front and solids at the back, but maybe crossdrilled fronts will look nicer.

Hi Beetlefanatic
Brand new (Alfa make) crossdrille ventilated is R150 each and for solids is R130 each, the more you take the more you will safe on P&P
I am busy fitting crossdrilled ventilated to my golf for better brake performance, used to use only crossdrilled discs on all of my Mazda's, well even my Isuzu had crossdriled discs

Centre punch can cause cracks in disc's that you cant see and will develope bigger cracks as you use them.vader wrote:Well you take a set of disks choose a drill bit, take it over to the drill press, center punch your pattern onto them, drill away and hay presto you have crossdrilled disks...
left is different from right side, discs are marked for left use and for right hand use
