Re: My First Project - A Beach Buggy - FOR SALE!!!

Post by natbro »

Hi Guys

I am selling this chassis complete as seen in the photos including engine and gear box as well as all parts that was stripped from the donor beetle. The engine is a 1600 TP and was overhauled about 2 years ago but has done less than 2000Kms since. I need R5500.00 but please let me know if this is over the top.

the donor beetle was rgistered an the license only expires end of july, if that helps at all.

Okay, so I did not try hard enough to sell my beach buggy project and still have it. Thank goodness!!! So i will be continuing with the beach buggy build 8) . It will be slow as I will be doing things as the finances become available.

Sent the chassis to Beetle Bits to have it shortened. I would like to have the floors done the same way Pine is doing his.

This is what has happened so far:

Yeah I have been silent but Ive been lurking around for a long time. I'm going to use a Beamish body. It will be form more on road than off road, but will be thinking about it while I get the chasis done.

I am think more in the line of this:

Got the chassis back from beetle bits. Now to strip it and then off to the sandblasters, maybe galvinizers and then powder coaters.
