Beautifying the underside...
Hi guys, on the current project I have had to clean up the underside of the pan and the H Beam. I decided to sandblast the H Beam and now I am at metal, what would be the right way of spray painting this to have protection of course but to have it a different colour ? I want to spray paint it a fire engine red, but what can or should i use in this area as i am sure it is prone to stone chips and the like...
I love car parts, I love money...one of these takes money the other brings happiness...

I don't think anything will be chip-proof unless you go for that stuff you line bakkies with... But that's pretty limiting colour-wise.
I used smooth Hammerite on mine and it's holding up well. Just touch up anything that bothers you and move on with life.
