Vent window glass to fraame seal

Post by AlanH »

As per subject, does anybody know where to get the seal and who can put it in?
I believe one needs special equipment to press the glass in.

Tx.

Not sure where to get the seal. I've heard of people cutting it from an old inner tube, but I wouldn't unless it was the last option.

It's not difficult to rig up a press to reassemble. The secret is lots of soap as lube.

Had a look at the video, thanks, great an easy, BUT I need to do that on the front vent windows that are not a flat edge.
I found the rubber for sale overseas. Lets see.
