Hi guys
I need some info.
Can you swop the nose cone and gear selector from a 1976 kombi 091 gearbox with the 1980 T25 gearbox? And also swop the hydraulic clutch setup to the cable setup?
Basically fit the T25 gearbox (091) to the 1976 kombi?

Can you please explain why you want to do such a thing when you can simply just install the correct box as it came out with?

And im up for the challenge if it is doable.
And the old gearboxes are becoming more and more expensive

I would suggest taking that time and fixing the existing correct gearbox. You will also then have the T3 box for a T3 when the time is right.
What you don’t want to do is bastardize 2 gearboxes and not have 1 that works at the end.
What is wrong with the bay gearbox?

Yes, typical damage from a ford V6. Glad you removed it to avoid more damage.
Replace the crown and pinion.
