After reading the thread of the T2 4x4 I had to share these photos I took of the prototype 4x4 beetle pan I did see last weekend at HO17.
I should've taken more pics but was not very comfortable with the idea that they had cars on display in a church.
Anayway, will also see if I find more info on the history but here is the pics:
