Believe me the tarmac dont need to be wet do drifting around corners or trafic circles will never try it in the rain only under controlled conditions such as Zwartkops might be there on 16 March. Will post pics of interior later this week

Very nice and neat buggy. Engine must have cost you a bit. Did you go to Zwartkops? I wanted to but things didn't work out. Hope to see you at some events this year.

I decided to too fit H beam conrods to my existing motor due to the rev limiter only set at 5200Rpm to protect the standard conronds from breakage. The cam only starts working from +-4800RPm and is advertised for power up to 7000Rpm in order to utilise the big duration of cam this was best thing to do. After 10 months in surgery the motor is finally back. The postal service strike took a huge 4 months out of this engine rebuild period. Motor was send to Impi for strip down inspection and improved parts fitment. Forged Cr/moly H beam conrods fitted ,double valve springs fitted with Cr/Moly retainers, Shadeck 32mm oil pump, new Mahle bearings mains ,big ends and cam. A 1 5/8 merged header with stinger and a phat boy muffler for cruising also in the works. The Fan casing was heater ducts removed and a plate’s silver soldered into the openings to smooth the overall look and painted 2k Audi rocket red together with the remaining tin ware.
A Big thank you to Impi and Rudi with the help with this rebuild. :hangloose:
Will try to load Photos this weekend from home.
